Working at Dominoes I have a job interview tomorrow at Dominos and was wondering if any how much money do you make working at dominos you have worked there or are currently working. Cominos is my first job interview so I am a little nervous about questions they may ask. What’s it like working there? I havn’t worked at Dominoes but i can give you some insight. As for the interviews questions it will probably be the usual stuff How old are you, Do you drink? Do you smoke? Are you still in school? What’s your highest form of education? B Real basic stuff like. You should be able to go online and see what their application is like, That’ll give you an idea. I have a perpetual fear of being kidnapped while delivering pizzas and being used as a suicide bomber yow watching this one movie.

I should probably consult a professional Originally Posted by Larynx. I worked mkney a Dominos in Ohio for about 2 years. A good portion of Dominos stores are privately owned franchises, there are far fewer actual company run stores. So you actually should find a rather pleasant work environment.

Do your job well and you will be fine. If your going to work in store you will just get a standard flat hourly rate. Drivers in the US use their own vehicle in most cases, there are some exceptions. You are generally paid a slightly smaller hourly wage than in store but then you get your tips and a fee based on per delivery or per mile which will vary by store as it is the owners choice.

If you are domjnos with today’s fuel prices I pray you drive a hybrid or a very fuel friendly car. As far as the interview goes, just relax and answer the questions without over thinking and you will do fine. Cairne, my brother, I will avenge your death, Magatha Grimtotem and her followers will pay with their lives.

And gas was ridiculous even back then 2. Especially during football season. It’s Texas. It’s an okay job, I enjoyed it while I worked.

But I didn’t feel bad when I quit. It’s a first job, so I wouldn’t sweat too much about it. Their questions for you will be pretty basic, and the application you fill out is going to be pretty sparse. Questions might ask about your grades or your extra-curricular activities. The activities question is going less about «judging» you and more about getting a feel for your time constraints and schedule as opposed to like a college application where extra-curricular is about «involvement».

They’ll want to know about your transportation in order to judge your dependability. If you need your mom to drop you off every day to work that throws a flag that shit might come up sometimes that makes you miss work. On your side, it’s always a good idea to research the company you are applying to, just so you are a bit knowledgeable about it. Just simple things like how long the company has been in business, roughly how many locations is this a 3 location pizza place or 20, store corporation, for examplemaybe where they are headquartered.

You don’t workimg to know this stuff, but it’s good to know. Just bust through their wiki page real quick and get the basics. Also, prepare not necessarily write down, but think about any questions you yok. What will my job entail? Will I have to deliver? Will I have the option to deliver if I want to? Do I use my own vehicle? Do I rotate positions in the store? How many people will I be working with at any one time i.

Is there any special training that I’ll need to take? Asking questions shows you are interested in the job, and not just «I’m 17, I need a job. Whatever, I don’t care. Last edited by Porcell; at PM. I’ve worked for several Domino’s pizza places.

Di city and Small. I can’t give you any advice on the interview. When I went in to apply the first time I asked the manager if he was hiring and he gave me an application. Just be honest and if you aren’t a d bag and know to look for toilet paper BEFORE you start to shit you should get the job.

You kind of alluded to being a driver. The hardest part is counting back change, and the next hardest part is deciding if you want to listen to talk radio or music. Don’t expect to just do nothing when wirking aren’t driving. There are always boxes to be folded and help answering the phones is always nice. Some stores will have you work the make line when you are delivering, others will just have you fold boxes.

It can get crazy in there on a friday night, but once you have a delivery you are gone. Expect to get stiffed, but count on getting tipped more than not.

We made an hourly wage. At one point it WAS below minimum wage but not by. I think it was like 5 something where min was 7. Eventually they started paying us minimum wage. Then you obviously get tips on mqke of. None of the stores I worked for shared tips. There was a lot of money to be. One of the stores I worked for delivered to a lot of hod. On one TRIP from the store i could have 3 orders all going to the same hotel that’s a 10 minute round trip.

Not bad. Advice; Smart hustle. Don’t speed. One speeding ticket can kill a good nights worth of tips. Wasted money. Nothing kills a tip than having to give them their pizza than go back to the store for their drink.

You WILL forget their soda though, parm and peppers. At the start of the day grab a handful of cheese and peppers packets and keep them in your car. Not having either of those also kills tips.
