My understanding is to bring in the large numbers you need to be crafting or gathering the «must have» new items. This I think means you have to be content with modest profits until such time as you have levelled DoH and DoL jobs so that you can produce such items. I also suspect those who have done that and are raking in mountains of gil will not be all that willing to divulge exactly what it is you need to do to steal a bit of their market and profit. Depending on server, crafted gear tends to stagnate eventually, but consumables can be profitable if your server has a healthy community of players that target Raids where such consumables are needed. Basically, I got to 50 Culinarian during the last few days and it cost me pretty much all the money I had. Obviously now that I’m 50 I’d expect to actually be able to make money, that’s how it usually goes when it comes to crafting, but when looking at the market prices, at the cost of mats or the effort necessary to get them I quickly found out that there doesn’t seem to be ANY money to be made as a Culinarian. Food isn’t exactly popular, and even the popular food is sold at around k. Problem is that k is basically what you need to pay to buy the mats necessary to make those «valuable» recipes, and if you don’t actually get an HQ, you end up losing money instead of just..

Makes it quite literally worthless. Cont next post dumb character limit. For a while I made dye, that I’d sell at around , but lately the price of dyes has reduced considerably, now sitting at gil each, making dyes poor choices when it comes to money, since it costs around gil for the mats. I think in general the game is not tuned for crafters and gatherers. People prefer finding their gear in dungeons, and food is not as important as it was in XI. I hope SE elevates the importance of crafters.

On a regular day, your usual earnings are in the six digits; on really good ones you can hit seven! Among the crafting classes, the most profitable ones are Blacksmith , Goldsmith , Alchemist , and Culinarian. Instead, go for the one that you genuinely enjoy.

How do you make money with mining? So I just dinged lvl 50 miner. I now ask myself what’s the most efficient way to make money with it. Do I TP around the world to get all the unspoiled nodes?
What abilities do I use dfxiv the unspoiled nodes? Do I have to change my TP favorite locations so I don’t waste as much money with it? What should I meld to my gear?
What cpoking the stats that I should shoot for? I mean seriously. If you want efficiency, check the market and mine what sells the most on your server. Prices vary every day. Or you can use King’s Ransom 2 and get 3 clusters. The cluster location doesn’t change, so just memorize where the desired cluster is, burn on attempt and use gp on KR2 instead of gp to reach all locations.
A lot of people suggest high level mats but you’d be surprised how many mid-level metals and such just aren’t stocked well on the market board. I know there was a time on Shiva where stack of 99 elec ore was selling for 9k. The price fluctuates constantly. You should check ore stacks, how much they sell for and if it’s worth farming for minutes. This for sure — I make a substantial amount of gill from MIN even though I have GSM too just from farming the easy stuff and selling driectly — sometimes, it is better to work in quanity lower level stuff over quality high level stuff.
Realistically, you need to craft those gathered ingredients into momey leve item or into a base ingot for a craft. Preferably HQ. Basically, what gathering does is it exchanges your real time for the ability to profit greatly on crafted items, by reducing your initial cost to zero or nearly zero.
If you really don’t want to level a craft, look at the mid level items and gather boat loads of. Especially the ones used for Culinarian. Go find a crafted item that sells extremely well, and look up what the ingredients are for it. Then sell. Then repeat. Cluster nodes I use the double cluster ability duh! This gurantees me an HQ on the final swing, and small chance of getting more HQ’s prior.
This doesn’t make me mountains of gil, but more then enough to get me whatever I want with a little work since gil doesn’t have too much of a use right. Things like Darksteel and Gold Ore don’t tend to go for very much unless they’re HQ on my server at least but if you have the appropriate crafting class levelled, you can make a LOT more by converting them to nuggets even if you can’t reliably HQ. Yemd — I suspect if you had posted that under another name, the DVs would not have been nearly as bad.
I personally like most cookin your posts as they are levrl point disagreeing is not a factor in DVing — even though you can be a bit harsh at times — some people however, may DV you just because other of your posts they may have had problems. I use a lot of the food I make for stat bonus. JgamsAug 16, Pretty much all ffxiv how to make money cooking low level can make money. Some classes make more than others at different levels. Weaver makes a lot of money with HQ cotton yarn and HQ dew thread at lower levels back in the old days. I am not sure about .
